Artist Portraits

In the summer of 2023, I wanted to document transitions to better understand their impact. I photographed artists close to me and interviewed them about their current moment.

 

These profiles allowed me to engage with the human behind the work, learning more about their artistic growth and producing quasi-time capsules of life before the change for future retrospectives.

From moving art studios to moving cities, what started as personal experiment very quickly became the start of an on-going project.
